I don’t recommend for functions. I’ve been twice. Once where we were the only group not in a big party that took over the whole venue. We weren’t allowed to order at the bar and had to wait ages to get service. We couldn’t leave because they made us pay a deposit. It would have been better to just tell us the whole venue was booked out than to sit us in one small glass area at the front with people walking in and out. We were also shouted at by the party for talking to each other while (very long) speeches were on. 2nd time I went was okay until they tried to charge $35 to light a $6 cake from coles. I’ve been to a lot of birthday parties and never had to pay this much to light a cake.

They made their own recipe for the espresso martini which wasn't great. I told them what I thought of it and they blamed me, saying I asked for no extra sugar − could it be that really, the issue was their choice to use some sort of chocolate liqueur instead of Kahlúa? Afterwards I switched to sauvignon blanc, and the bottle didn't match what was advertised on the menu. I would've got another drink, but the bartender disappeared for 20 minutes. I searched all over, and when she finally reappeared, she told us they were closing in 5 minutes. Were they really still open at that point? The seats were sufficiently comfortable.
