Love is Light Wedding Photography

My partner and I got married on 7th March 2020 and we are so thankful that we hired Brendan to capture all of our special moments. We received our edited photos a few weeks ago (in both colour and black & white), and are thrilled with the results, as are so many of the friends and family that we have shared them with! I would highly recommend Brendan to other couples planning their weddings. From the moment of first contact, Brendan's communication was extremely prompt, clear and detailed, and this never wavered over the many months of lead up through to now. Brendan sought an understanding of and listened to what was really important to us in order to best meet our needs, and I hadn't realised how important this was until our experience ended up being so positive. Brendan scouted our wedding venue and its surrounds a few weeks in advance, meaning on the day we had a solid plan for using our time for wedding party shots most wisely. He was also aware that being a pregnant bride I was not keen to get stuck on my feet posing with extended family for hours on end, and we found ways around that while still managing to keep our 120 guests happy and included in so many of the final photos. I also recall that we found the Love is Light package options to be so easy to understand from the website (transparent pricing details = a big win for wedding planning). I can confidently vouch for Brendan as offering exceptional value within the busy wedding photography market!

Brendan was a truly amazing photographer for our wedding. He was such a calming presence on the day, communicated perfectly in the lead up and took such amazing photos! We were both nervous about being professionally photographed and worried we would feel awkward but Brendan made us feel totally at ease and it shows! He was a real enhancement to our celebration, and we will treasure the photos forever.

Brendan was recommended to us and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice to have him photograph our wedding day. Brendan was so easy to work with. He stayed calm and captured all the shots, even though I was running a bit late. He made sure we took a little bit of time out of the reception to have photos taken in the gardens of the reception venue. These are among our favourite of all the photos. We're very happy with the photos and enjoy revisiting them and reliving our wedding day.

Brendan shot our beach wedding this year and was absolutely fantastic. He really managed to take advantage of the natural light and surroundings. He made everyone feel very comfortable and was flexible when changes happened on the day. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

Brendan, you were amazing at our wedding! You captured the moments of love and connection between everyone on the day, and that's what was most important to Peter and I.
