The husband-and-wife team, Ben and Michaela, along with their best friend Daniel, draw inspiration from their Italian heritage to offer authentic regional dishes. Their menu features rare and obscure pasta shapes, such as triangoli, made from Riverina durum wheat using traditional Italian techniques. Zecca also produces its own gluten-free pasta made from 100% Australian chickpea flour. The restaurant emphasizes using fresh, locally sourced produce, collaborating with local farmers to showcase the best of Griffith and the surrounding area. Zecca's name, meaning "mint" in Italian, pays homage to the building's history as Griffith's Rural Bank.
