Located in the heart of Yass, the Yass Railway Museum showcases the rich history of the Yass Tramway. Visitors can explore the main station building, the station master's residence, an original loading bank, a goods shed, and the impressive 1307 Steam locomotive, which served the state railway system for nearly 95 years. The museum also features a model railway and offers a picnic area for guests to enjoy. Open every Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm, including public holidays, except Christmas and Boxing Day. Entry fees are $10 for adults, $8 for children and concessions, and $20 for families. Annual passes are available for purchase.
