
Located at 247A Comur Street, the Yass Valley History Centre is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of the Yass Valley. The centre features regularly changing exhibitions, including "Hamilton Hume: Going Places," which explores the life and explorations of the renowned Australian explorer. Visitors can also view a model streetscape of Comur Street from the 1890s, showcasing the area's historical architecture. The centre offers personalized research services on various topics and hosts talks and activities to engage the community. Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted. The centre is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm.
