Yarrie Lake, a three-kilometre saucer-shaped expanse of water, lies on the edge of the Pilliga Forest in New South Wales. Thought to have been formed by a meteorite impact thousands of years ago, the lake's milky waters are ideal for swimming and water activities. It's a haven for over 70 bird species, making it a birdwatcher's paradise. The area offers camping facilities with powered and unpowered sites, hot showers, toilets, and laundry facilities. Visitors can enjoy water sports, yabbying, and picturesque sunsets. Pets are not permitted, and noise restrictions apply from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.
