
Yarkuwa Indigenous Knowledge Centre Aboriginal, located at 392-394 Hay Road in Deniliquin, NSW, is a Traditional Owner organisation dedicated to preserving and sharing the cultural heritage of the Wamba Wamba and Perrepa Perrepa peoples. Established in 2003, the centre offers a museum and gallery space featuring cultural artifacts, language learning displays, and local family histories. Visitors can explore exhibitions of traditional Aboriginal items, artworks, and woven baskets. The centre also provides guided cultural tours of the Island Sanctuary, highlighting the significance of local flora and scarred trees. In May 2025, Yarkuwa celebrated the opening of its new Cultural Centre, enhancing its role as a hub for cultural education and community engagement.
