Yabun Festival, held annually on January 26th, is Australia's largest community-led one-day celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Founded in 2001 by Gadigal Information Service, the festival honors the resilience and richness of First Nations peoples through music, dance, art, and cultural discussions. The 2025 event featured a stellar lineup, including Troy Cassar-Daley, Barkaa, and Electric Fields, performing at Victoria Park in Sydney. Attendees enjoyed market stalls, panel discussions, and children's activities, making it a vibrant gathering for all ages.
