The two-storey brick building features a hipped roof with four chimneys, a symmetrical facade with bay windows, and a two-storey returned verandah adorned with cast iron brackets and panels. A notable three-storey tower adds to its architectural prominence. The property is part of the Mangalore Heritage Mile, reflecting its historical significance. In 1956, it began serving as a training institution for boys aged 9 to 14, later accepting girls in 1979, and operated until 1988.
