Nestled in the Scenic Rim region, the Wyaralong Flatwater Centre offers a premier 2-kilometer, 10-lane regatta course, serving as Queensland's State Rowing Centre. The facility regularly hosts a variety of rowing competitions, including school and club regattas, State Championships, and National Time Trials. In preparation for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the centre is undergoing significant upgrades to include training and warm-up courses, boat sheds, a facilities block, pontoons, a finish tower, and enhanced parking areas. These enhancements aim to support local, regional, and international regattas, as well as other water-based sports and recreational activities.
