
Woolpunda is a small locality in South Australia's Riverland region, situated on the south side of the Sturt Highway, west of Kingston on Murray. Established in the 1920s, it features a 38-meter-tall water tower built in 1922, which remains a prominent landmark. The area is primarily used for broadacre grain farming and irrigated fruit and vegetable cultivation, including grapes and olives. With a population of approximately 15 residents, Woolpunda offers a tranquil rural setting amidst the scenic landscapes of the Riverland.
