
Woolgoolga Beach Reserve, located on Ocean Street in Woolgoolga, NSW 2456, is a vibrant coastal destination offering a range of amenities for visitors. The reserve features a new playground, accessible amenities, pathways, picnic tables, and shelters, with a Changing Places facility in the amenities building. Fencing around the playground ensures safety for children. The reserve is renowned for its swimming, surfing, fishing, diving, and snorkeling opportunities. Up on the headland, visitors can enjoy scenic walking tracks and breathtaking coastal views that stretch to Yuraygir National Park and the hinterland. Between May and October, the headland is a prime spot for whale watching. The reserve is patrolled by lifeguards daily from the beginning of the September school holidays to the end of the April school holidays. Parking is available, and the area is family-friendly, with nearby cafes and eateries. Dogs are permitted on the northern end of the beach, north of Hofmeier Close.
