Located at 109 Korumburra Road, Wonthaggi VIC 3995, the Wonthaggi Recreation Reserve is the largest multi-purpose outdoor venue in the Bass Coast region. It features two football/cricket grounds—one with a turf wicket and the main ground equipped with a synthetic pitch—alongside seven synthetic surface netball courts. The facility also includes a social room with a bar and small kitchen, as well as change rooms and pavilions offering shade. With ample parking for approximately 300 cars, the reserve hosts various sporting events and is home to the Wonthaggi Power Football and Netball Club, Wonthaggi Miners Cricket Club, and Wonthaggi United Soccer Club. Adjacent to the reserve are the Bass Coast Aquatic Leisure Centre and the Wonthaggi Tennis Club.
