Wollongong Botanic Garden

Nestled at the foot of Mount Keira, Wollongong Botanic Garden spans 27 hectares, offering a serene retreat with diverse plant collections from Australia and around the world. Visitors can explore themed areas like the rose and herb gardens, as well as extensive rainforest sections. The garden is home to native wildlife, including bower birds, ringtail possums, and kookaburras. Family-friendly amenities feature an all-abilities playground and a duck pond. Regular activities include guided tours, workshops, and the popular Sunset Cinema. The garden also manages Mount Keira Summit Park, Puckey’s Estate Nature Reserve, and Korrongulla Wetlands.
