
Wollar Solar Farm, situated approximately 55 km northeast of Mudgee in New South Wales, is a significant renewable energy project featuring around 660,000 solar panels designed to track the sun's movement throughout the day. With an installed capacity of 280 MWac, the farm is expected to generate approximately 546 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, equivalent to saving around 164,000 metric tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 400,000 tons. The project is owned by BJEI Australia and is committed to supporting the local community and minimizing environmental impact.
