The Wirrabara Institute, established in 1912, serves as a vibrant community hub in the heart of Wirrabara, South Australia. Constructed from local stone, it has hosted a variety of events over the years, including balls, weddings, dances, and theatre productions. In 1974, the Seniors Citizens added a hall and kitchen, enhancing its facilities. The Institute celebrated its 100th anniversary and the 100th Wattle Ball in August 2012. Managed by a dedicated volunteer committee and owned by the District Council of Mount Remarkable, it continues to be a focal point for community gatherings.
