Hornsdale Wind Farm, located between 8 and 24 kilometers north of Jamestown in South Australia, is a 316 MW renewable electricity project comprising 99 wind turbines. The farm generates over 1,050,000 MWh of renewable energy annually, supplying power to approximately 180,000 homes and offsetting 1,250,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. The turbines stand 95 meters tall with a 55-meter blade radius, reaching a tip height of 150 meters. Adjacent to the wind farm is the Hornsdale Power Reserve, known as South Australia's big battery, enhancing grid stability and energy storage.
