Located approximately 20 kilometers south of Canberra, the Williamsdale Solar Farm spans 30 hectares and features nearly 36,000 photovoltaic panels mounted on a single-axis tracking system, enhancing efficiency by up to 30%. Commissioned in October 2017, it generates enough electricity to power around 3,600 households annually, contributing significantly to the Australian Capital Territory's goal of 100% renewable energy by 2020. The farm is owned by Impact Investment Group and serves as a key asset in their Solar Income Fund, which aims to provide investors with a target return of 10% per annum.
