Wiangaree is a charming town in northern New South Wales, situated 14 kilometers north of Kyogle along the Summerland Way. Nestled in the Northern Rivers region, it lies on the banks of the Richmond River. As of the 2021 census, Wiangaree has a population of 161 residents. The town is part of the Kyogle Council and is represented in the Lismore state electorate and the Page federal electorate. Notably, Australian Test cricketer John Gleeson was born in Wiangaree.
