Whites Flat, located in South Australia's Eyre and Western region, is a rural locality within the District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula. Established in October 2003, it was named after pastoralist Samuel White. The area features the Tod Reservoir and the Tucknott Scrub Conservation Park in its northwest corner. Historically, the Whites Flat Post Office opened on 1 October 1897, and the community hall, built by local residents, served multiple purposes, including as a school and church. Today, the Whites Flat Community Hall remains open for community use.
