Westmeadows Indigenous Community Garden

Nestled at the corner of Toora Drive and Redan Court in Westmeadows, the Westmeadows Indigenous Community Garden is a vibrant space where community members cultivate fresh, seasonal produce. The garden features 40 individual plots, a greenhouse, and a sheltered BBQ and picnic area, fostering connections among those passionate about heritage fruit trees, bush tucker, and sustainable living. Memberships are free and open to individuals, families, or groups, with options to become a garden plot member or a friend of the garden. Regular workshops and events, such as fruit tree pruning sessions and bush tucker walks, are held to engage and educate the community. The garden is accessible to all, with facilities including all-access toilets, off-street parking, and walking trails.
