The Wee Waa Show Society, established in 1927, hosts the annual Wee Waa Show, a vibrant celebration of the region's agricultural heritage. Held every August at the Wee Waa Showground on Maitland Street, the event showcases livestock exhibitions, including some of New South Wales' finest sheep and cattle, and features a variety of competitions such as cross-cut sawing and wood chopping. Visitors can enjoy displays of handiwork, fine art, cooking, and photography in the main pavilion, as well as live entertainment, pet shows, and fireworks. The society also organizes events like the Cotton Capital Country Muster, a weekend of country music with Australian artists, and a Cocktail Night featuring live entertainment and catering. These events foster community spirit and celebrate Wee Waa's rich cultural traditions.
