Camping is available for AUD 5 per night, with facilities including flat camping areas, toilets, and barbecue and picnic spots. The Buurree Walking Trail, named after the local Wiradjuri word for wattle, winds through open woodlands, offering scenic views of Sofala and the Turon Valley. The area also features old mine shafts from the gold rush era, which are fenced off for safety.
