Watsons Crossing

Watsons Crossing is a rural locality in Queensland's Goondiwindi Region, situated on the border with New South Wales. Covering approximately 66.3 square kilometers, it has a population of 16 residents. The area is characterized by grazing on native vegetation and some crop cultivation near the Dumaresq River. Notably, the Dumaresq River forms the western boundary of Watsons Crossing, serving as the state border with New South Wales. The locality is accessible via Riverton Road, which enters from the south-west and follows the river's course.
