Nestled in the foothills of kunanyi/Mt Wellington, Waterworks Reserve is a cherished bushland park in Ridgeway, Tasmania. Established in the 1860s, it features historic reservoirs that capture water from local creeks and rivers. The reserve offers tree-shaded lawns, children's play areas, and twelve barbecue sites, including two undercover areas available for booking. Walking tracks meander around the reservoirs and extend into the bushland, leading towards the mountain's water source. Open daily, including Christmas Day, the reserve provides a peaceful retreat for picnics, recreation, and nature exploration.
