Warracknabeal Racecourse, located at 52 Henty Hwy, Warracknabeal VIC 3393, is a historic venue with roots tracing back to the 1860s. The first races in the area were held in 1871, starting at the Warracknabeal Hotel and running through the streets before finishing back at the Hotel. The racecourse has undergone several transformations, including a significant reconstruction in 1987, enhancing its reputation as one of the premier tracks in country Victoria. Managed by the Wimmera Racing Club, the venue hosts various events, including the annual Sheep Hills Cup.
