Established in 1946 by returning servicemen, Wanda Surf Life Saving Club is a family-oriented club located at the northern end of Cronulla's beaches. With over 1,200 members, it offers a range of activities, including surf lifesaving, education programs, and social events. The club hosts the annual Tradies One Club Surf Carnival, attracting competitors from across New South Wales. Its clubhouse features The Founders Room, available for private functions and open on Sundays for members and their guests. Wanda Beach, the northernmost patrolled beach in Bate Bay, is renowned for its excellent surf conditions and is patrolled by the club's dedicated volunteers.
