Opened on November 9, 1956, the Walbundrie Memorial Hall stands as a tribute to the community's wartime service. Located opposite the recreation grounds on Billabong Street, this hall features a white marble Roll of Honour in its entrance porch, commemorating those who served in World Wars I and II, Women's Services, and the Vietnam War. The hall's dedication plaque reads: "This hall was opened by D.G. Padman M.L.A. on 9.11.1956" The Roll of Honour inscription states: "Lest We Forget" "Those who served from Walbundrie District in World Wars 1914-1918, 1939-1945, Women's Services, Vietnam" The hall serves as a poignant reminder of the community's dedication and sacrifices.
