It serves as the home ground for the Orange Hawks Rugby League Club and hosts some home games for the New South Wales Country Eagles in the National Rugby Championship. Notably, in 2009, Wade Park hosted the NRL City v Country Origin game, drawing a crowd of 8,226. The park is equipped with public toilets and accessible facilities, including level gravel paths and an accessible toilet. In 2023, significant upgrades were completed, including new change rooms, solar panels, and LED lighting, enhancing its facilities for all users.
