
Experience the nocturnal wonders of Western Australia's Wheatbelt at Wadderin Wildlife Sanctuary. This 430-hectare sanctuary, enclosed by 9 km of fox- and cat-proof fencing, is home to reintroduced species such as the Red-tailed Phascogale, Brush-tailed Bettong (Woylie), Banded Hare-wallaby, Brushtail Possum, and Southern Brown Bandicoot (Quenda). Guided night tours, conducted by a dedicated local volunteer group, offer an immersive journey through the bush on an open electric bus. Tours typically last about one hour, with a total duration of approximately 1.5 hours. A guide meets visitors at the Narembeen Roadhouse at 7:15 pm to lead them to the sanctuary. For group bookings or customized tours on nights other than Saturday, please contact the event organizer.
