Established in 1957, it has evolved into the nation's largest inland grain storage facility, boasting a capacity exceeding 600,000 tonnes. The site underwent a significant A$4 million upgrade in 2019, introducing a new classification center, automated grain probes, and a fully automated 40-meter weighbridge, enhancing efficiency and safety for growers. Strategically positioned, the facility efficiently out-loads grain via a 1,000-tonne bin system over a railway line, facilitating swift transport to Port Adelaide for international shipping.
