Located at 496 High Street, Northcote, the Victorian Aboriginal Community Services Association Ltd (VACSAL) is a community-based, community-controlled organization established in 1984. Serving as a statewide agency, VACSAL provides strategic advice to government bodies and offers extensive services to Aboriginal communities in both metropolitan and regional areas. The organization manages various community programs and holds representation on over 85 local, regional, and state reference/advisory committees. As a community resource center, VACSAL delivers government-funded programs supporting children, young people, families, and the strengthening of communities and culture.
