VICSES Heidelberg Unit

The VICSES Heidelberg Unit, located at 446 Waterdale Road, Heidelberg Heights, VIC 3081, is a dedicated volunteer organization committed to serving the local community. Operating from a state-of-the-art facility, the unit responds to a wide range of emergencies, including severe weather events, search and rescue operations, and flood responses. The team comprises 85 active volunteers who have responded to over 1,013 requests for assistance in the 2021/22 financial year. The facility features five motor bays, administrative offices, a training room, turnout area, and a well-being area for volunteers. The unit also offers opportunities for community members to get involved through various volunteer roles, including operational and support positions.
