Valentine Plains is a rural locality in Queensland's Shire of Banana, approximately 4.5 km southeast of Biloela. The area encompasses 458.5 square kilometers and is home to a population of 373 residents. The terrain is mountainous, with elevations ranging from 180 to 860 meters above sea level, featuring peaks such as Amphitheatre Mountain (502m), Cave Mountain (394m), and Mount Kroombit (569m). The southeast portion lies within the Kroombit Tops National Park, extending into neighboring regions. Land use primarily involves grazing on native vegetation, with some crop cultivation in the lower elevations. Notably, the wreckage of the B-24D Liberator "Beautiful Betsy," which crashed in 1945, is located within the national park area.
