Unley Concert Band, established in 1997, is a premier A-grade wind ensemble based in Adelaide's inner suburbs. Comprising approximately sixty members, the band offers high-quality community musicianship, performing a diverse repertoire from advanced wind band compositions to lighter entertainment music. Under the direction of Colin Prichard, principal trombonist of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, the ensemble has achieved notable successes, including a second-place finish at the 2023 National Band Championships in Newcastle and defending their South Australian A Grade title for the 12th consecutive year in 2024. Beyond public performances and concert series, the band actively participates in competitions, band festivals, and community events such as the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant and the ANZAC Day March. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at the Unley Town Hall, located on Oxford Terrace, Unley. The band warmly thanks the City of Unley for their continued support.
