Umina Community Group is a dedicated collective of local residents committed to enhancing Umina Beach through active participation in community programs and collaboration with Central Coast Council and other government bodies. Their initiatives include upgrading Guyangil Park, regenerating coastal dune habitats, and promoting energy efficiency to reduce carbon emissions. The group also focuses on improving local infrastructure, such as advocating for increased kerb and guttering across the suburb, and supports youth engagement through sporting and activity-based clubs, including the two Surf Life Saving Clubs at Umina Beach.
