Situated approximately 30 kilometres east of Dorrigo and 93 kilometres south of Grafton, Tyringham offers a tranquil environment with a mix of primary production, forestry, and national parks. The area is predominantly zoned for primary production (92.32%), with smaller portions designated for forestry (4.27%) and national parks and nature reserves (3.2%).
