Turtle Sands is Australia's newest turtle-focused nature resort, nestled behind the dunes of Mon Repos Beach near Bundaberg, Queensland. As the only place on Australia's mainland where you can stay, play, and rest within meters of where marine turtles nest and hatch, Turtle Sands offers a unique experience. Accommodations include contemporary villas, glamping tents, studios, and powered caravan and camp sites. Guests can witness magnificent turtles nesting and hatching just meters from their accommodation, with nightly tours available from November to March. The resort also provides easy access to the Southern Great Barrier Reef, local beach villages, and various nature reserves through a network of walking tracks. A central pool and social area with surrounding gardens acts as a hub for connection and play.
