The trail transitions from subtropical to cool temperate rainforest, culminating at Tullawallal, where a patch of Antarctic beech trees stands as the northernmost in Australia. This ancient forest links to Gondwana's heritage. The return journey continues along the Loop Track back to the Binna Burra trailhead.
