Top Crossing Hut, constructed in 1957 by the Crown Lands Department of Victoria, is nestled along the Upper King River Track in Wabonga, approximately 10 kilometers above Lake William Hovell. Built by Frank and Snow Burrows with assistance from Nifty MacDonald and Ken Bustle, the hut was originally used for activities such as wombat and dog trapping. The structure features a pole frame with battens, an externally framed chimney, and an iron roof and walls. The Wangaratta 4WD Club currently serves as the hut's caretakers.
