The TMAG Collections and Research Facility, located at 5 Winkleigh Place, Rosny Park, houses the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery's extensive zoological collections. These collections, representing over 150 years of acquisitions, include more than 300,000 specimens of significant scientific and historical value. While the facility is not typically open to the public, access can be arranged by appointment for researchers and interested individuals.
