Tingalpa Pioneer Chapel and Cemetery

Nestled in Tingalpa, Queensland, the heritage-listed Tingalpa Pioneers' Chapel and Cemetery offers a serene setting for various ceremonies, including weddings, funerals, and christenings. Established in 1868, the chapel was rebuilt in 1886 after a cyclone, utilizing salvaged materials. The surrounding cemetery, with over 300 graves, provides a poignant glimpse into the area's early history. The chapel features seating for 52, with additional arrangements available, and is equipped with a microphone and projector. The venue also offers outdoor spaces suitable for events, ample parking, and disabled access. Managed by the Friends of Tingalpa Cemetery Heritage Group, the site is open daily during daylight hours, welcoming visitors to explore its rich heritage.
