Tickera, a coastal settlement on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula, is renowned as "The Crab Capital of the Spencer Gulf." Situated 20 km north of Wallaroo, it offers abundant Blue Swimmer crab fishing opportunities, especially between September and April. The town features a boat ramp, parks, reserves, and the Tickera Memorial Park. Visitors can enjoy fishing for whiting, garfish, and squid along the shoreline. The Tickera Community Club hosts monthly meals and welcomes visitors to their clubrooms. Historic sites include the former Tickera School (1887–1933) and the Methodist Church built in 1889.
