Thirroul Railway Institute Hall

Nestled in the heart of Thirroul, the Railway Institute Hall at 14 Railway Parade is a cherished heritage building that has been a community hub since its opening in December 1920. Originally constructed by the NSW Railways for the education of employees, it has long served as a venue for social functions, including wedding receptions and union meetings. Today, the Thirroul Railway Institute Preservation Society (TRIPS) continues to maintain and operate the hall, hosting a variety of events such as concerts, open mic nights, and social gatherings.
