Since November 2017, Thiess has provided full mining services, including drill and blast, overburden removal, coal mining, and progressive rehabilitation. The operation employs a diverse workforce, with over 80% residing locally, and has been recognized for its industry-leading rehabilitation practices, incorporating habitat features to create wildlife corridors and restore self-sustaining native woodland ecosystems.
