The Wollondilly Heritage Centre and Museum

Nestled in The Oaks, the Wollondilly Heritage Centre and Museum showcases the rich history of the Wollondilly Shire. Its collection spans extensive photographic records, family histories, and specialized exhibits on Burragorang, Yerranderie, coal mining, and the indigenous Gundungurra people. Visitors can explore six heritage buildings, including the Burragorang Cottage, Drill Hall, and From Farm to Table Pavilion, each offering unique insights into the area's past. The museum is open weekends and public holidays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, with entry fees of $3 for adults, $1 for school-age children, and $7 for families.
