Established on July 4, 1992, Walcha Telecottage is Australia's first Telecentre, offering essential technological services to the Walcha community and surrounding areas. As a not-for-profit organization, it provides a range of services, including the free weekly community newspaper, The Apsley Advocate, delivered to all households in Walcha and district. Additionally, it offers high-quality full-color printing, secretarial services such as desktop publishing, faxing, photocopying, binding, and laminating, as well as internet access and computer hire.
