Located at 15 Broadway in Ultimo, The Underground Sydney is a vibrant live music and late-night venue that has been hosting local and international acts since the early 1990s. With a capacity of 600, it features a stage, built-in event lighting, a projector screen, and an in-house sound system. The venue also boasts an in-house pizza kitchen and a bar, offering a variety of beers, loaded fries, and delicious pizzas. Happy Hour specials are available from 12pm to 2pm, Tuesday to Friday. Adjacent spaces like The Loft on Broadway, Turner Lane, and The Hideout can be utilized to accommodate events up to 1,300 people. The Underground is a 5-minute walk from Central Railway Station and 15 minutes to the Sydney CBD. Public buses run regularly between The Underground and the city. Operating hours are Tuesday to Friday from 12pm to 8pm; weekends are reserved for external events. The venue is licensed until 3am. Profits support UTS student programs.
