Located in the heart of Merimbula, The Twyford is a vibrant hub for performing and visual arts, as well as community events. The heritage-listed Twyford Hall, built in 1931, offers a versatile 170-seat space suitable for exhibitions, dances, film screenings, concerts, rehearsals, workshops, meetings, and catered functions. Adjacent to the Hall, a new 199-seat theatre, completed in April 2025, features a proscenium arch stage with state-of-the-art lighting, sound, and AV systems, enhancing the venue's capacity to host touring theatre, dance, and music performances. The Twyford also provides a commercial-grade kitchen and a 20-seat Supper Room, facilitating a range of events from basic gatherings to elaborate functions. Managed by The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd, a registered arts charity, the venue is dedicated to serving the artistic, social, and cultural needs of the Merimbula community.
