The Purple Emerald

We had our end-of-year event take place here, and it was a great time. We were given full accesss of the venue, including the Sundeck section out the back. The weather was lovely on the day which I am sure Phil and his team arranged too! Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I will be back either alone or with another group of people ready to party. Thank you Purple Emerald Lounge Bar!

On Friday 5th, our workplace held a function in the Sundeck area. It was such a beautiful space! Phil and his team were very lovely. Would definitely return and hold another function here!

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Staff were so rude and snobby, We had a decent group booking to be outside but we all got shoved into a corner after we’d paid $65 each for the bottomless experience. The food tasted like it had been reheated and served to us. Don’t waste your time or money.

Total waste of money. The rudest employees, clearly understaffed for a Saturday, and the so-called “bottomless brunch” was a joke. For $65 we got chips, ONE arancini ball each, a spring roll and a rice paper roll. That’s not brunch — that’s an insult. Misleading, terrible value, zero fun. Never coming back and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

PEL was a wonderful place to have a celebration! I just had my birthday there and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. The service was great, attentive, efficient and very friendly. I felt really cared for. The food was delicious and the music was great. Thanks again to Phil and the team for making my night really special!

An absolutely beautiful venue, delicious food and such wonderful staff. Our event couldn’t have been better, thank you!

Rude staff that need to mind their own business

A massive thank you to Phil, Hayley, and Brayden. We've done two functions here in the last month and I just want to say the three of them are the most fantastic, wonderful, and patient team I've ever had the privilege of having host my events. They all understand dietary requirements, they are so, so friendly, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. I will be coming back to have events here in the future.
